Egf Announces Teams To Play In Tunisia In The African Junior Golf Championship, 24^th – 27^th April, 2025

The Egyptian Golf Federation (EGF) is proud to announce the participation of Egypt’s National Under-18 Boys’ and Under-18 Girls’ Golf Teams in the African Junior Golf Championship, taking place at The Residence Golf Tunis, Tunisia from Thursday 24^th to Sunday 27^th April, 2025.

The Egypt Team delegation will be led by Ahmed El-Shelqany, Board Member of the EGF along with Steve Burton, the EGF National Team Coach. 

Representing Egypt in the Boy’s U-18 Division are:

Omar Hany,

Mohamed Rabie,

Aly Eldin Salama, and,

Abdelrahman El-Dafrawy,

In the U-18 Girl’s Division Egypt is represented by:

Talia Samah,

Nour Ehab, and,

Lily Kasem.

The EGF has completed all logistical arrangements for the team’s travel to Tunisia and has provided the players with full support for their tournament preparation. These efforts aim to ensure the team competes at the highest level and upholds Egypt’s strong reputation in golf in this significant regional championship.

The African Junior Golf Championship will feature teams from 13 nations, including: Botswana, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and the host nation Tunisia.

The Egyptian Golf Federation expresses its full confidence in the team and looks forward to a strong performance on this international stage.

اتحاد الجولف يعلن قائمة منتخب الناشئين المشارك فى البطولة الأفريقية

أعلن اتحاد الجولف عن قائمة قائمة منتخب مصر للناشئين والناشئات المشارك في بطولة أفريقيا للناشئين والناشئات تحت 18 عاما والتى تستضيفها تونس خلال الفترة من 23 إلى 27 أبريل الجارى.
وتُقام البطولة في ملعب "ذا ريزيدنس بمشاركة منتخبات من 13 دولة وهي: بوتسوانا، كوت ديفوار، مصر، كينيا، موريشيوس، المغرب، ناميبيا، نيجيريا، جنوب أفريقيا، أوغندا، زامبيا، زيمبابوي، والدولة المضيفة تونس
ويرأس بعثة المنتخب أحمد الشلقانى ، عضو مجلس إدارة الاتحاد، إلى جانب المدرب الوطني للمنتخب ستيف بورتون.

اما اللاعبون فهم عمر هاني ومحمد ربيع وعلي الدين سلامة
وعبد الرحمن الدفراوي.

واللاعبات تاليا سامح ونور إيهاب وليلي قاسم

وانهى اتحاد الجولف كافة الترتيبات اللوجستية لسفر الفريق إلى تونس، كما وفر للاعبين كل الدعم اللازم للاستعداد للبطولة. وتأتي هذه الجهود لضمان مشاركة قوية للفريق تعكس السمعة المتميزة لمصر في رياضة الجولف على مستوى القارة الأفريقية.
