New management enhancements and appointments at the Egyptian Golf Federation (EGF)

The Egyptian Golf Federation (EGF) has announced two new important enhancements to its management structure and team.
Ahmed Sobhi, has been appointed as the Executive Director of the EGF and Yasser Kasem is the new Secretary-General of the EGF.
Omar Talaat Moustafa, the President of the EGF, commented on these two recent appointments, ‘We are delighted to welcome Ahmed on board with the EGF with all his experience, and to continue to have Yasser with us in an enhanced role.’
‘Ahmed has a legal background and will bring a structural skill-set to the EGF, aligned with his huge experience over the years, working in the Egyptian government framework. Yasser has worked with the Federation in various capacities over the years and will work with other golf federations in the MENA and Arab regions and beyond, as well as focus on key player engagement and logistics for tournament participation within Egypt as well as overseas.’
‘We have ambitious plans for the Federation through the new Board and it is important to ensure we are aligning with all the golf clubs and all golfers in Egypt as well as collaboratively developing the game through various initiatives and improving our media offering.’
‘Spotting talent at an early age and providing these youngsters with opportunities and appropriate support is the role of the EGF as well as working closely with all our elite players, both male and female and young and old, as they perform at their best in representing Egypt, and properly prepare to play in tournaments: locally, regionally and internationally. That is the Vision from the new Board of the EGF, to cover all areas of the Egyptian golf industry and especially to appropriately communicate to the clubs, all golfers as well as all our stakeholders,’ concluded Moustafa.

تعزيزات وتعيينات جديدة في الإدارة بالاتحاد المصري للجولف
أعلن الاتحاد المصري للجولف عن تعديلين هامين في هيكله الإداري وفريق عمله، في إطار التزامه بتطوير لعبة الجولف في مصر.
تم تعيين الاستاذ أحمد صبحي في منصب المدير التنفيذي للاتحاد، بينما يشغل ياسر قاسم منصب الأمين العام الجديد للاتحاد.
وعلّق الاستاذ عمر طلعت مصطفى، رئيس الاتحاد المصري للجولف، على هذه التعيينات قائلاً:
“يسعدنا انضمام الاستاذ أحمد إلى الاتحاد بخبرته الواسعة، ويسعدنا أيضاً استمرار الاستاذ ياسر معنا في دور متطور.”
وأضاف:
“يتمتع الاستاذ أحمد بخلفية قانونية وسيقدم مجموعة من المهارات التنظيمية تتماشى مع خبرته الكبيرة في العمل ضمن إطار الحكومة المصرية. أما ياسر، فقد عمل مع الاتحاد في عدة مناصب على مر السنين، وسيتولى التنسيق مع الاتحادات الأخرى في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا وخارجها، بالإضافة إلى التركيز على تفاعل اللاعبين الرئيسيين والجوانب اللوجستية للمشاركة في البطولات داخل مصر وخارجها.”
وتابع:
“لدينا خطط طموحة للاتحاد من خلال المجلس الجديد، ومن المهم أن نضمن التعاون مع جميع أندية الجولف واللاعبين في مصر، بالإضافة إلى تطوير اللعبة من خلال مبادرات متنوعة وتعزيز حضورنا الإعلامي.”
واختتم قائلاً:
